Healthy Eating
So Roslyn and Kristin have been helping me learn to eat more healthy especially at restaurants. I would like to say that I am not a naive person but I knew that the restaurants were not the healthiest but I also didn't think that what I ate was so bad.
So with Kristin's help last week I was able to go to Chilis for lunch and had a grilled chicken sandwich that was under 500 calories and was low in fat and low in sodium. The best part is that I felt full and satisfied after.
The test came on Saturday when we went to Montana's as a family. I think I did good actually. I had a salad with grilled chicken and strawberries/mandarin oranges/pine nuts. It was great. The salad dressing was a little too much so I am glad that the dressing was on the side, I only put half on the salad...sadly, Owie drank the rest...ewwww.
